my little whoops big girl!

my gorgeous Ebony...yes i am totally bias....started BIG school yesterday...she had a great day and is more than happy to be going back...her only problem is understanding that because she gets up so early she doesn't actually have to get ready for school straight away... no one is there at 6am!!...LOL... all spruced up ready to go.....

a weird attempt at a smile...hehehehe.

all three munchkins ready to go....chantelle has been a fantastic support to ebony making her feel very positive about school...

me and my girl.....and NO i didn't cry...everyone has been asking me that...hehehe...i think because she was so happy and not fazed at all by anything it didn't worry me...i have been so busy this week though so maybe it will hit me next week when all three kids are at school and there is not as much on my agenda to keep me busy...LOL.

a little bit Pyrus

hey there ...just thought i would share some of the pages i did with my january PYRUS kit...i have a couple more to show you but my camera is playing up so it will have to wait until i can get it fixed up!...there is a little bit of reflection on a couple of them ...for that i apologise....i have used a mix of hertitage and recent pics with this kit...it suits everything!!!LOL....hope you like them! this one had the girls in my class spinning a little with the 60 distressed one inch squares followed by stitching...LOL...but i love the end result! this is my grandparents wedding pic.....

look Kerry i made one of you flowers!!!!! Finally....hehehehe...and they were a huge hit with the girls too... thanks again for teaching it to us xx

this is my mum and her sisters and brother....

my uncle and aunt on their wedding day....not sure i am happy with this one...the jury is still out..... My family at our chrissy get together on dec 19th 2010...we had a fantastic day at maitland park....i love them all so damn much!!! but oh my god do i need a haircut...AAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!

retreat news!

hey there! my challenge retreat is fast approaching and it is with a heavy heart that i have to say that we now have a couple of extra places open due to the current sad circumstances in our beautiful country.....so if you can now join us after all or you know a friend who would like to join us then just drop me an email and let me know.....to refresh your memory here are some details about the retreat!
the retreat is on the 4th-6th of march 2011..it is a challenge weekend so i supply you with a heap of challenges, sketches and comps to keep the mojo flowing ...having said that though i am not going to kill anyone who simply wants to do their own thing.. ..
the cost is $200 which includes all meals, munchies and soft drinks from friday night till sunday arvo...the cost also includes a HUGE scrap kit containing everything from bazzill and papers to embellishments, some alphas and this year even some tricky little tools! you really could bring your tools and glues and nothing else if you wanted...the kit will keep you going all weekend long and beyond!.....also i do offer the kit for sale for anyone who would like to purchase the goodies but is unable to actually attend the scrap weekend.....all money is needed by early february so all the stock can be purchased in plenty of time. to book your spot or a kit simply email me and let me know ...you will also need a $50 deposit asap to secure your spot....if you would like to know anything else about the weekend just ask!!
we really have a great time girls so come on what are you waiting for ...book in and join in the fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2010 recap!

better late than never i guess...LOL..

well 2010 was certainly a mix of emotions but we all have those from time to time....some highlights were definately:
*the girls starting and loving dance classes...i was finally able to give them an activity of their own outside of school that they could share with their friends...they just love it and i think they did great in their first dance concert too...yeah yeah i know i am totally bias...hehehehe
* ethan made such huge improvements with his reading, writing and speech...he is growing up so much it's getting a little scary....ethan and his class mates performed a beautiful dance at the schools world expo...making lots of mums (not just me for a change) cry happy tears! keep it up my big man!!
*chantelle had to go through quite a few different treatments for her CP over the year but handled it all in her stride 98% of the time...i am very proud of her and the way she just gets on with things...
*ebony had a great year at preschool and is more than ready for big school...bring on feb 3rd i say!!! LOL....
* i loved joining in the fun at Wicked Princesses...there is a wonderful bunch of ladies over there chatting and supporting each other....thank you to you all for welcoming me and i am honoured to be able to call you all my friends!
*speaking of friends...to my friends here at home and my email buddies THANK YOU so so much for all your friendship and support..i value you all so much...i hope you all realise just how much....
* IN 2010 I read 170 books and loved at least 165 of them so thats pretty good averages wouldn't you say...LOL....i am on my 7th so far for 2011 ...i love to escape wih a little bit of reading..ok understatement...alot of reading....but what sanity i actually have left is definately a result of good friends and escapeing regularly with a great book!
as a lot of you know my 2010 didn't end with wonderful news and the news we received leaves a very dark cloud over my 2011 but I AM NOT GOING TO focus on only that cloud and i am going to stay strong and positive..I AM, I AM, I AM...occasionally i need to remind myself but i am getting better...thanks again for all your well wishes for my brother.

hey there long time no blog.....i have so much to tell you all and share with you that i think i will have to do it in stages ....i am not getting much computer time at the moment so i'll quickly share some pages from my december class with you then i'll be back with more and family stuff.... this page is ethan's first santa photo ...whatever was on the ceiling was way more funny appartently...LOL...i really had fun doing the chrissy tree even if cutting the tiny 1/4 inch strips got a bit annoying.....but hey i had fun watching the girls have to do it too...LOL...

i also did a double page for this class as well but i wasn't happy with it so i am fiddling with it before i put it up here.....

Chan's turn!!

well my big girl did get her plasters of in time to dance in the big end of year concert and she was absolutely thrilled about it!!! Chan in her very pink jazz costume for her "I feel pretty" Dance....this pic was taken after the concert so things were a little worse for wear by then but she's still a cutie...yeah yeah i know...i am totally bias!

the concert went well.... i think my girl did a great job considering she was only out of leg plasters 3 days prior to the concert and she was still very stiff and sore...nothing was going to stop her from having a go though which made us very very proud!!

oh and of course i just had to show you a close up of the makeup cause that's important don't you know!! god help me when she gets older!!!!!!!!!!!!
