chantelle's comp page!!

ok so this has been done for over a week but her slack mum keeps forgetting to put it up!!! she has used a green bazzill base ( it is alot nicer colour than it looks here but i just can't get a decent shot of anything today, some hippie chick buttons and some kazzazz spirals to make this gorgeous double page layout of everyone enjoying some time with daddy playing football!!! they all had such a great time i just had to get the camera out...i mean who wouldn't!!!! i love the quote on the patterned paper she used " the most wasted of all days is one without laughter"...she picked the pp, we, as in myself and penny, helped her choose the actual quote to use.....good luck honey, i just love your layout!!!

WOOHOO LAST DAY!!!

well the last day of the school holidays is finally here!!!! yeah!!!!!!! actually i shouldn't say it like that cause my kidlets have been really good considering the awful weather we have had for most of the hols....anyway thank you my babies for a great time together......today we scrapped!!! this is eb's page for the kids comp of her swimming at brielle's birthday party back in january......she used the new kaiser papers, i know i am a softy but the colours went great with the photos,......she finally wanted to decorate with something other than flowers...this time she went button crazy but i am very proud to say she stuck them own all by herself!!!! the only things i helped with was the order of the letters for her title and i cropped her photos for her but she did everything else herself....she is very much an independant scrapper!!! god help me!!!!!
for ethan's page he has used the new crate paper " high voltage" paper from the static range and matching chipboard buttons......he finished off with some SEI puff alpha stickers.......he is really loving scrapping and again i can proudly say he did it ALL himself!!! go ethie!!!!
chantelle got a bratz scrap pack from her school book club and was simply dying to try it out......so here we have her "bratz girls" page!! she too use SEI puff sticker alphas and hippie chick buttons to title and embellish!! the photos are of herself and her big bratz baby yazzi! when she first got her she had to go every where with her...it was soooo cute.....she was unsure about using these particular photos cause her belly was sticking out ( how cute!!!) but i assured her it would be fine cause they were cute!!!! well done honey...you are becoming such a great scrapper!!!! you all are!!!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

here is some more gorgeous layouts for this month's comp!! the first is from trish....a simply stunning layout of a beautiful wedding photo! the embossed papers are just gorgeous and really add some beautiful but subtle detail! the reds are just gorgeous and you can't really see it in this photo but trish has also added blue ink over the top of the"wedding" chipboard which really sets it off!!! great layout honey! good luck with the comp!!!!



















the next layout from sandy is gorgeous in blues and i think you would call it a gold colour!!! she was very cheeky and was able to title her layout using her patterned papers........ way to multi task!!! it is quite simply a gorgeous layout to showcase some great family photos....this family just doesn't take rotten photos.....gorgeous as always!!!! oh and i love the star flower!!!! well done honey and good luck with the comp.......

i was given these absolutely beautiful layouts today for the monthly comps!!!the first comes from the wonderful jody....very bravely scrapping the bathtime fun she had on her honeymoon....hahaha.....i just adore this layout...the colours go together beautifully, the stitching looks great and the beads on the "B" are a great touch!!! well done honey and good luck!!!








the next layout " at the beach" comes from gorgeous Billie-jo for my kids comp!!! some great photos here of some great beach fun.....it looks so nice i just wanted to jump in when i saw it!!!!! good luck honey......i love all the co-ordinating blue tones you have used too!!!!!

great kids !!!!

well todays kids class was fantastic!! i really enjoyed our day together and would like to once again thank you all for coming along and joining in the fun.....some wonderful books were created and some new friends made...all in all a great day!!!abbie became our bling girl (above) creating a gorgeous flower shaped book with lots of bling....i say you go girl cause it looked great!!!!

here we have kaytlin adding the finishing touches, her ribbon, to her gorgeous butterfly book! it turned out absolutely gorgeous honey you should be really happy with it!!!!

i would also like to sincerely thank the mums who were here today for their support and help!!! thanks for sharing your passion with your kids and allowing them to join in the fun.......keep an eye on the blog closer to the next hols caues i have something special planned for those cold winter hols that i think you'll love!!!!!!!!!

2 sleeps to go!!!!

well kids there is only 2 sleeps to go until we get together and create our beautiful books! don't forget to bring your photos and happy faces to my place by about 10.30am on wednesday...be ready for lots of fun!!! if there is something special you want to use on your books then bring it along otherwise just pack yourself some photos. you will have flowers, patterened papers to cut or punch shapes out of, chipboard shapes, felt and all sorts of great things to use on your books so i am sure we will have loads of fun!!!! can't wait to see you all............

sunday workshops

yesterday's sunday workshop was lots of fun and everyone who came created some beautiful pages..so well done gorgeous people!!!! this sunday i am teaching the same pages and i am sure we will see some beautiful pages created again so if you haven't booked in yet give me a call or email me as i still have a few spots left and you really don't want to miss out on these great layouts!!!!

julie's april comp entry!!

firstly i owe Julie a HUGE apology for this photo as it isn't the best one to show off her actual photos themselves...it was impossible yesterday to get a good one....but it does show off the layout itself beautifully!!! this is a really groovy layout of what looks like a really fun night....now when i set stitching as a criteria i didn't quite expect such dedication as julie has shown!!! she has cross stitched all the way around the edge which actually took her a total of 3 HOURS!!!!!!!! lots of stitiching and measuring went on here...... well done honey, it was worth it cause it looks great!!!!!

sunday workshop pages!

these are the pages created for this months sunday workshop days......the 20th and 27th of april........hope you like them.........the first was inspired by a sketch from becky fleck at pagemaps for this layout i used a 5x7 but you can also use 6x4"s...so it is up to you!!!!i just loved the colours and texture of these new sweet branch papers from crate paper.....just love them!!!!!!!!!!!




for this layout again you can use a 5x7 or 2 6x4 photos....we use stamping and rub-ons to embellish the pages as well as heidi swapp florals.....some of the rub-ons are sayings etc ...so you will be able to individualise your layout.......
next we do our boy inspired layout using the fantastic new "static" papers from crate paper! i just love these papers!!! they are a great mix of blues, greens and browns.....we cut out embellishments from papers and use the matching alpha!!! as you can see i have used 6 6x4 photos...4 in landscape cut a little and 2 portrait.....it really was a fun page to do but maybe for me it was just the GORGEOUS subject matter!!!!! hahahaha.
for our last layout we again use sweet branch papers and we use the new core co-ordinates cardstock...we will be sanding, stamping and stitching on this layout...... lots of fun i promise!!!! i have used 3 portrait 6x4 photos and 1 5x7 landscape photo but we can adjust accordingly on the day for you with this layout!!!

april kids comp

our first entry is in...yeah Josh!!! or should i say jack sparrow...oooh i love jack sparrow but that's a whole other story......back to josh!! this is only the second page josh has ever done taking on the scrapping bug with a passion apparently which is FANTASTIC!!!!....hahahha we got another one!!!!! i love it josh...your patterned papers are awesome!!!! you look like you had lots of fun that day and i hope you had more fun creating this great page!....... good luck with the comp honey!!!!

WOOHOO the first entry for the monthly comp is in!!! the gorgeous peta has created this wonderful layout...lovin the happy faces and of course have to mention the stitching......it has been a weekend for stitching.....the craze is definately catching on........seriously though i love it honey well done!!!! i hope the next few weeks go by for you nice and peacefully not to mention quickly!!!! peta is due to welcome a beautiful bubby into this world any old time now.....sending you all the good vibes we can muster honey!!!!!!!!!

jaimy, last weekends winner, has entered another gorgeous layout for this weekends comp! a great use of the colour combo honey....just gorgeous!!! i really love the grungebaord flourish and of course a girl has to love bling!!!! i also noticed more stitching...maybe this stitching thing is catching on......

ok i have to admit i am still in shock about this layout!!! i love it! simple and meaningful but why i am in shock is because it was created by Kate M who absolutely hates stitching!!! and check out that beautifully stitched boarder!!!! well done kate......jumping out of that comfort zone definately gets you bonus points honey!!! we all need to do it from time to time......great effort!!!

scrapping bon jovi!

i have used the new "static" papers from crate paper to create this layout of BON JOVI!!! it isn't the greatest photo of the layout but it is soooo overcast here today i just can't get a good one! you can still see the papers ok though...they are gorgeous papers in both design and quality... besides with this subject matter you just can't go wrong !!!! they are so gorgeous...well to me anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you will enjoy working with these papers in our future classes i am sure....

scrapping with sandy!!

i had a great day scrapping with sandy today! thanks soooo much for the compamy and inspiration honey......so here is what i did!!!!

these four layouts are from an aussie scrap source class kit which i will be teaching on monday!! i am really happy with how they turned out....those attending the class have a choice of boy or girl...the layouts are the same just different coloured papers......

the last page "A girl so sweet" is a february almanac page for scrap boutique! we had to use a large photo as a salute to photographer ansel adams! i love this shot so wanted to keep it simple.....you have to really with such a large shot!!!!! it isn't exactly how i had intended it to turn out but i think i like it anyway!!!!! just not sure about the flowers???

ethie man is going through a tough time at the moment....we have discovered a heap of ulcers in his mouth which probably explains why he isn't eating much...they look soooo sore.....add to that two loose teeth.........well this morning he finally lost one of the teeth... yeah!!!!!! he is sooo happy about it that we just had to take a photo and share it!!! he looks so cute, not that i am bais of course! hahahaha, but when he loses the one next to it as well it will be soooo cute....i crack up now....... god help me when they are both gone!!!!!!!!!!!

kids class update!!
