expressions of interest!!!

i have been aproached about doing a kids class...it is an idea i have been thinking about for a while but am unsure wether there really is interest in a monthly kids class....so let me know what you think???? would you be intertested in bringing your child and if so what day, saturday or sunday would suit you best???? please bear in mind that the classes will have to cost a minimum of $10 per child....occasionally it might be a little less but if you keep that cost in your mind then you will be prepared......you can either let me know what you are thinking by leaving a comment on the blog or email me directly..........

i will be running at least two kids classes during the next school holidays, maybe more depending on the need, at this stage there will be one in the middle of each week of the hols.......details will be posted on the blog a little closer to the hols...............so keep an eye out!!!!!!!!!!!!

boutique kids comp

well my girls scrapped today after my class for the boutique kids comp!! the theme this month is circles!!!ebony used small plastic discs for her circles then of course added flowers...you have to have flowers on your page or your doing it wrong!! or so i was told today when her big sister tried to tell her she didn't have to use flowers on every page she does...she was told very strongly that you do so....it is not right if you don't!!!!! i'm telling you i wouldn't agrue with her about flowers....a lesson has been learnt here today!!! hahaha....
chantelle scrap lifted from mummy and the ladies today....she created a journalling book and added emmas photo to it...for her circles she punched out circles then drew around them to turn them into balloons!!! inside her book she has written" emma is my friend" she trimmed everything today on her own trimmer she got for her birthday and i am happy to say she is getting really good at it!!! she evn thought of the title herself!!! well done my girls...you are such clever scrappers

this is just beautiful!! i love the how the content of the layout jumps out at you but it is still simple in it's design!! it is not over complicated or crowded......lovin it honey!!! and that photo of billie-jo is just soooooooo gorgeous!!! love it!!!

Proud mummy time!!!

this week saw chantelle achieve her very first gold award!! she is so proud of herself and so are we!!! bigs hugs and kisses my girl!!! she has worked really hard since starting big school and is doing really well with all her work!!! she is so happy that mummy has two gold kids now!!!!
as for my man ....he went to a birthday party yesterday where they had crocodile encounters attend as the entertainment.......all the kids had a ball and ethan just loved all the animals....isn't the bubby croc just sooooo cute!!!!! he also checked out the lizards...even got a kiss on the nose from one......but the big news from my point of view was the.......................................................
SNAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have a major snake phobia, even looking at this picture gives me the creeps!, so nanny ( thank god for nanny!!!) took ethan for me.......he had no reservations about the snake at all and as you can see even had him around his neck!!! i am sooo proud cause that is something very brave i could NEVER do!!!! i mean look at the size of that thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well done my brave boy!!!!!!!!!!!!

here is the first entry for this months comp! michelle has created a gorgeous floral layout celebrating mothers day and four generations!!! it is gorgeous honey and what a treasured memory to have.....i love the punched flowers ....well done.....

now i know michelle is moving on to the starlight challenge now so the rest of you lovely ladies had better get cracking!!! hahahaha .........looking forward to seeing loads more entries soon!!!

just because!

first up is my "slobby kisses" page....my kids call them that instead of "sloppy"...i created this page for the february almanac at scrapboutique!! simple it is formation but effective i think??.....i have doodled around the edges and in the spaces on the chipboard..... i have inked and stamped the "kisses" chipboard and the little hearts then glossied them....... this will be a future class page! the colours used in the class will be different though so you will be able to customise it a little more........
"my mini me" is also an almanac page this time for March and the ingredible kid day! the photo lifts up to reveal journalling underneath about how much chantelle and i are alike ...i have also written about some of the ways i hope she won't be like me!!! this too will be a class page and there is colour variations for this as well so you can use a 5x7 boy or girl photo...it can also be either portrait or landscape......
now this page was purely done to suit the beautiful cherryarte paper....i didn't want to lose any of the gorgeous detail on the paper so kept it very simple...the love chipboard took me longer than the entire page!!! we paint it with red then with glitter glaze!! you can't see it properly in this photo but it looks great!!! i have used some small white rub-ons to finish off with just a little bit of a sub title........ this will be a class page this month as well......

starlight challenge

ok here is my layout for the starlight challenge...no i am not in the comp ...it is just an idea for you all.....i have used purple and yellow as much as i could! i have used a yellow/orange paper for the base page, a yellow with purple flowers and another with yellow and purple mixed into it...i also used some embellishments in the right colours too!!!!

you can throw other colours into your layout as long as i can see plenty of the required colours......good luck with your ideas!!!!

this one is the gorgeous "cherish" page created by Belinda Sterns for aussie scrap source! a stunning page created so easily! i really enjoyed doing this one and i love the finished layout...thanks belinda for your beautiful inspiration.......now i have 4 of these beautiful kits for sale at the great price of $13......the kit has everything in it you need to create this beautiful layout plus a gorgeous card! all you will need is your tools, a flourish stamp and some brown ink.... it is amazing value!!!!!

well what an amazing start to May we have had! first my gorgeous chantelle turned six yesterday here she is receiving some pressies from ethie and ebony before school...merv and i made her wait until after school for our pressies but they were worth the wait!! she was extremely excited about her pressies from the kids...a hannah montana dvd and books!! hannah is the new love at the moment!!!
of course we had to have a birthday cuddle!!!
after school and pressie time started again ...this time a hannah t-shirt and jumper along with a scrap tote, trimmer and paper pack!!! she was one happy girl...tommorrow is her hannah birthday party!!! a very exciting day!!! a BIG thank you to kaytlin and sandy for their great pressie cause now we also have LOADS of hannah music to groove to at the party!!! WOOHOO i can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!yes i am as bad as the kids...........
to top yesterday off my gorgeous man received his very first Gold award at school!!! a big deal for us....he was soooooooo proud and SO ARE WE!!!!!!! he just loves the limelight...it was so cute!! not that i am bias ....much......hahahaha
as you can sort of see here.....his stupid mother forgot to rotate the photo before uploading it!!....the smile and joy that is still on his face about it all...he just glows when you mention it!!!! yes i know i am raving but i can't help it!!!!!
